Come join my family and I on our many adventures and follow Robin on her weight loss journey. I post tutorials and reviews on various subjects such as Premier Pro, the GoPro, Hotel Reviews, etc. You will also find covers that I have made using my Tyros 4, as well as original compositions.

Ep. #329 "Roundup On the Moon" - School's Out Play

While Robin, Autumn & Mike fish, I take my Yeasu FT-817ND, along with minimal supplies, out to an area with zero trees. I set up a 20 meter antenna 2 feet off the ground, and end up getting some impressive results. Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... While the kids were in Creston building Clay's PC, they played Richie's Plank Experience on Alex's VR system, the Vive. And what an experience it was... ;-) Subscribe: http://... Our friend Clay graduated this year, and the idea was brought about by Caden to build him a new PC for a gift. Getting lots of people involved to split the cost, Alex ordered the parts and had Jacob, Josh, Brittain, Caden & Mason over to help put the whole thing together. They recorded the entire process and it was an exciting one. ;-) This great machine, with an Intel i3 and GTX 1050 ti, only
I get my 15, 20 & 40 meter, homemade ham radio antenna mounted on the roof of my home, utilizing my home's old, obsolete chimney. It's very experimental and is quite the eyesore, but it has gotten the job done - I've made 40+ successful contacts using my 5 watt radio and this homemade antenna, from as far as New Zealand. I also show off some of my QSL cards I've been collecting. :-) Subscribe:
Jake and I make a data cable for my Yaesu FT-817ND ham radio. It was a little messy but we thought it was a sure success. It wasn't. I test the cable and then tell you what I did wrong - after correcting the issue, the cable works great and was a fraction of the cost, I'd say it was worth it to me. :-) PSK Map: http://... The week of March 4th to the 10th, my family spent time in Colorado, visiting family and shopping in Denver. Had some funny experiences at the Denver Mills Mall and had a fun at at Casa Bonita. It was a fun week for us. :-) Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Facebook: http://... #thejohnnyoshow #johnorjias #roadtrip #Colorado #Denver #Delta #CasaBonita #DenverMillsMall
***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** Our second and final Home Chef meals we cooked in Delta was the classic chicken piccata, with angel hair pasta and lemon-caper sauce. This one was another delicious meal, and with each box from Home Chef I come to love their recipes more and more. :-) Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Facebook:
***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** While visiting my parents in Colorado, they ordered some Home Chef meals for the kids to prepare for everybody. :-) This one was the turkey and avocado tostadas, with pickled onions, sour cream, and chayote. It turned out very good, everybody loved them. Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Facebook:
I started building my first homemade 20 meter antenna in Colorado with my dad, and after taking it back home to Iowa with me, I discovered that it turned out magnificent. ;-) Subscribe: http://... Jacob and I took the test for our General Ham Radio license at the Hiawatha Amateur Radio Club: Winter RF Fest in Perry, IA, on February 25th. I passed, while Jacob did not... however, we also came out with a goodie: a FG-01 YouKits antenna analyzer worth $200 for only $15. When you aren't looking, is when you find the best deals. Remember that when attending any HamFests. ;-) Subscribe:
Our final smoothie provided by GreenBlender food box, the Bok Choy Matcha. It was a little bland, but it was still good. Robin gave it a 5, she wanted it to be sweeter. I gave it a 7. All in all, GreenBlender had some interesting recipes, but we recommend just using the recipes and getting the ingredients at your local grocer. ;-) Subscribe: http://... Next on the list of GreenBlender recipes was the Creamy Mango Morning smoothie. It was the best one so far, Robin and I both really liked it (Tiana didn't but she doesn't count). ;-) Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Next smoothie to try from GreenBlender was the Blood Orange Cantaloupe. It was still a little gritty and it wasn't very sweet. Two suggestions we'd give is make sure you have ice, and maybe just use the recipes with your own fruit. Robin thought the fruit they sent wasn't quite ripe enough. Still, gave it a 5-6 score. :-) Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Facebook: http://...
Here's our attempt at making homemade deep fried candy bars. Things were a little rocky at first but in the end they turned out delicious. The girls - Tiana, Georgia, Brittain, & Izzie - attend Carter's high school graduation party in Altoona, Iowa, on January 28th, 2017. It was a beautiful formal dance; the girls enjoyed dressing up and enjoyed the night of dancing. ;-) The night made for many fun memories. Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Fixing, what I thought to be a garbage antenna, the Opek HVU-610. Turns out with a little tweaking, it's a pretty nice antenna. Then I review and test the Vanco SWR-1 meter and Baofeng radio. I really got a great bargain with the SWR
