Come join my family and I on our many adventures and follow Robin on her weight loss journey. I post tutorials and reviews on various subjects such as Premier Pro, the GoPro, Hotel Reviews, etc. You will also find covers that I have made using my Tyros 4, as well as original compositions.

The Johnny O Show

Day 2 of our little fall trip to Dubuque involved a lot of driving: we took a tour of Galena, IL. Found a cute coffee shop and Robin accidentally tried some outrageously HOT hot sauce, thinking it was a pepper jam at the Galena Canning Company. Poor, poor Robin...
Then we took a bit of a scenic drive, and inspected Pikes Peak State Park, Effigy Mounds National Monument, and then enjoyed the little tour of Spook Cave. It was a good day. :-)

Ep. #420 Mini Vacation to Dubuque, IA - Day 2

I recently purchased the MFJ 993B automatic antenna tuner. This video discusses my first impressions of it. Subscribe: http://... Check out our site: http://... Facebook: http://... #thejohnnyoshow #johnorjias #automatic #antenna #tuner #MFJ993B #review #hamradio #amateurradio #20meter
***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** This order of Home Chef, instead of ordering 3 nights' worth of meals, we ordered a meal that could feed six. The dish was Sunday supper chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. We didn't get a chance to get everyone's specific rating, but everyone thought it was delicious. :-) Subscribe: http://... So got a great deal on the TYT MD-9600 radio at an estate sale - I bought it for Britty so she could keep it in her car. In this video basically sums up some troubleshooting when using an older version of the CPS DMR software, as well as how to configure your radio. Then we get it set up in Brittain's vehicle, and I cover some of the issues I faced during that. Subscribe: http://... Check out our

I gave this meal an overall 7. I said it was because I loved macaroni and cheese, but that wasn't exactly what it was. Something was conveyed wrong, and we had the idea we were eating macaroni and cheese - it was macaroni

Only because I'm not a fan of Brussels sprouts did I give this meal a 6; the pork was absolutely delicious, and the maple-glaze actually made the vegetables edible. ;-) Subscribe: http://... ***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** Another order of our favorite Home Chef. This first dish Tiana has prepared the jerk chicken thigh-stuffed poblano peppers with pineapple and pickled red onion. While this wasn't our favorite stuffed pepper recipe we've had from Home Chef, Robin and I rated it a 6, Tiana gave it 5 because she wasn't a fan of the
Here's our third and final day of our short trip to Minnesota before we head back to Iowa. We decided to take advantage of the free Como park zoo and Marjorie McNeely conservatory, which was excellent for free admission (a recommended $5 donation is appreciated). Then we got lunch and ate in Minnehaha park before exploring the falls and the creek. It was a relaxing day and finale to our trip.
June 2nd, 2018, Tiana celebrated her *finally* completing high school. This is a little slide show of some memories that we shared at her graduation party, featuring some of her beautiful singing and dancing when she was younger. :-) Subscribe: http://... Here's day 2 of our short family trip to Minnesota. We started the day by visiting the Science Museum of Minnesota. WORD OF ADVICE: if you go there during the end of the school year, and go on a weekday like we did, arrive there later in the afternoon, AFTER all the kids have left from their field trips. Trust me, otherwise it won't be nearly as enjoyable. :-/ Then we wanted to experience the
Here's day 1 of our short family trip to Minnesota. We right off hit the Mall of America, went to the Sea Life of Minnesota aquarium, Nickelodeon Universe amusement park, and ate plenty of food. I also got to put my new Gimbal to use... Overall, it was a great first day to our trip. :-) This is also the first time I really try to put my Zhiyun Crane Plus Subscribe: http://... ***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** This next dish from Home Chef was the "banh mi" pork meatball sub with sweet potato rounds. Britty filled in for Tiana this time, and even though she missed one of the steps, it stilled turned out pretty good. ;-) The recipe didn't make quite enough mayo, so I recommend doubling (or even tripling) the measurements for
***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** The next dish up for our most recent order of Home Chef was the pesto chicken pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, and arugula. This was another really good recipe - Brittain and I gave it a 7. And Brittain doesn't like tomatoes, but she loved the grape tomatoes Home Chef provided us with... so they got good produce!
***Click here to get $30 off of your first order of Home Chef http://... *** Another shipment of Home Chef has arrived, and this first dish is the weeknight chicken quesadillas, with Chihuahua cheese and pico de gallo. It was a very simple dish to prepare, but it was very delicious - we both rated it a solid 7. Lookin' forward to the next dish. :-) Subscribe: http://... Check out our site:
Since Robin and Tiana were away for the weekend, and it was around the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Britty mentioned watching all Marvel movies in chronological order up to when we would see Infinity War in the theater together. She made a check list and everything. ;-) It was an exhausting experience but it was loads of fun, and Infinity War ended up being my favorite movie out of them all.
So I've been wanting to buy a new camera and after much research I picked out Panasonic's GH5 or the GH5S. I still love my Sony RX100 Mark III, but I wanted to get a better camera. But I can't decide between better video quality or better stabilization. So instead of shelling out $3,000 on a brand new camera, I decided to stay with my Sony for now and see how well I like using a gimbal for
Robin and I thought we'd give the food delivery company Factor 75 a try: always fresh food and special diet friendly meals delivered straight to your door. These meals were kind of like TV dinners, where they are all pre-made and you simply warm them up in either the oven or the microwave. This video is an honest review of the product... there was nothing *wrong* with it, but we decided it wasn't
