Ep. #624 Day 29 | Our 12 Week Adventure: Rockwood Is The Biggest Disappointment
Well it's official: Rockwood engineers are a bunch of idiots. Why would they put something with a breaker behind a panel that is not really meant to be accessible? I'm so done with this camper. But unfortunately, I'm stuck with it. I can only begin to imagine what other feats of marvelous engineering on this camper will bite me in the butt down the road. This is how I spend day 29 of our enjoyable trip.
Why would you screw a 20 pound inverter to a wall in a camper that bounces around, much less why would you screw it into an only 1/8 inch thick panel board, with #8 sheet metal screws and expect it to hold? Not to mention they also screwed them in so tight that they stripped the holes in the panel board so they were not even holding onto anything.
It should have been put in an accessible area, attached to the FLOOR! Anyone with half a brain can figure that logic out.
