Ep. #902 Lost Roads, Doggos & Cows: GPS vs. Mother Nature
Today, we embarked on a brief journey along Roubideau Canyon Road. Upon arrival, we discovered the road had been washed out and was marked with 'road closed' signs. However, local residents had created a makeshift detour. Although Google Maps suggested the road extended further, we eventually hit a dead end where we found free-range cattle. We wondered if perhaps another road might have been washed away, as Google Maps displayed alternative routes, but we couldn't locate them. Regardless, it was a pleasant drive. It wasn't exactly off-roading, but we relished the time spent with the truck, my wife, our dogs, and my mom who joined us for the trip.
