The time has come for Jacob to make a new PC. He takes on a new computer build in a different price bracket, creating a future resilient beast, benchmarking 250+ FPS at 4k with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and the Nvidia RTX 4090. As Jacob explains, while the flagship CPUs from both AMD and Intel have been trading blows, AMD is currently leading the market.

Compared to his previous build with an Intel i7-6700k, the Ryzen 9 7950X offers a significant upgrade with 16 cores, 32 threads, and a turbo speed of 5.7 GHz. Meanwhile, the RTX 4090 stands as the top-tier GPU, giving a performance that AMD is yet to surpass. Jacob also discusses the benefits of Nvidia's software, and the choice of 64 GB DDR5 RAM.

After successfully booting up the system, we proceed with benchmark tests. The RTX 4090 impresses with remarkable performance, delivering a staggering 600+ frames per second at 1080p resolution. At 4K resolution, it maintains a solid performance of around 250 frames per second. Suffice it to say, Jacob is very happy with his new build. 😉
